SDCE Light Fastness

Light fastness tests indicate the suitability for a given end use of a fabric, based on its propensity to fade when exposed to light. SDCE’s blue wools are available in eight shades with varying degrees of colour fastness as specified by the ISO 105 B series of tests. When used in conjunction with a grey scale for assessment, these blue wools can determine whether a fabric will be fit for purpose ahead of manufacture or for ongoing quality control purposes.
