New labelling for SDCE range

By July 12, 2022No Comments

SDCE has introduced new labels featuring an integrated Union Jack emblem across its range of UK-manufactured products. The new flag (pictured) will be printed onto product labels as part of the overall design, replacing the previous flag which was an additional adhesive applied on top of the product label.

The move will reduce SDCE’s consumption of raw materials, replacing two separate adhesive labels with one printed version, while still clearly indicating the origin of SDCE’s UK-manufactured products.

Item 3810 (Fluorescent Suppressor Laminated Plate) already features the new-style labels, while other products including LFS Blue Patterns 1, 3 and 5-8, Phenolic Yellowing Test Papers and Multifibre will see the new labels rolled out across newer batches as they are manufactured.

“We want to assure customers that our products are still genuine, despite some slight changes in the appearance of our outer packaging,” says SDCE’s managing director Mark Yare. “Customers are however still urged to be vigilant with regards to potentially counterfeit items, and are reminded to only buy SDCE products from our portfolio of approved distributors, while always looking out for our unique security features including our security thread and holographic logos.”
